In October (2003) Olde Walkerville residents were startled to discover that the playground equipment in Willistead Park, some of which had been in the park for over 50 years, had been removed. In this photo, taken by Howard Weeks, three residents investigate. According to a spokesperson for the Windsor Parks & Recreation Department, some of the equipment was broken and according to new safety requirements, the entire playground had to be replaced. Within a few days, the Park's Department had installed new equipment.
